Drake x Alife Highlight Performance

Fresh off releasing his debut album, Canadian rapper "Drizzy" Drake found his way into the Lower East Side(My second-home/Area where I was born) & enjoyed himself in a party-concert event inside of Alife Rivington Club. For those who don't already know; A.R.C. is the Lower East Side's hidden sanctum known for their releases in exclusive sneaker brands such as those from Nike & Addidas. On the day that the most anticipated album of the year was being released Drake took the Mic to celebrate his "Thank Me Now!" Alife Session. The session was a Super-Hit with
DJ A-Trak and bass-heavy DJ duo Vida and Valissa starring right beside him. This all took place on June 15th at the A.R.C. Umbro World Champions space in the A.R.C. courtyard. It was a sight to see & an experience that was just ground-breaking. The night also, starred a new A.R.C. shirt that was designed & released this occasion. For those who couldn't go, here's video footage exclusively from OnSmash; For the video click on NYC Events 2010

A Good Day Under The Bridge-DJ Kid Cut Up

Mostly everybody that grew up in the 90's knows the movie "Friday" starring a young Ice Cube & Chris Tucker(before his Rush Hour Days). The movie is one of the greatest movies to embody the Californian vibe, especially from the mean streets of Compton. The movie is always 9/10 times remembered when someone hears the song "Today Was A Good Day" which was as colossal as the movie itself. Well close to 15 years later, we get a cut alternative mix of this track. Check it out what do you guys think?

Remembering Michael Jackson: The Tribute

It's hard to believe that Michael Jackson is really dead, yet it's even more shocking how fast his Anniversary came, like where does the time go? On a day that was so joyous for many w/ it being their Graduation Day like it was mine, it was rather upsetting to bear that one of my personal favorite artist & influences was gone. But through the passing of his death, its great to see how many people are paying their strong respect & homage to the KiNG of Pop. RIP MJ we'll always remember 6/25.
