Electro-Funk DJ Benny Benassi will be at Governor's Island on July 5th along w/ Congorock & Bart B More, plus Roxy Cottontail, JDH & Dave P.
Tickets start at $25(For a limited-time) & include round-trip ferry transportation from Pier 11(4 blocks South of the South St. Sea Port), the boat ride is just a short 5min. ride & is like I already said, free w/ the ticket!. The only drawback is you must be 19 years old or older to attend. The ferries will be arriving after every 15mins. to Governor's Island & doors are opened from 4pm to 1am. KAWS at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum Preview

 Experience the first SoLo-Museum exhibition by World Famous Brooklyn-based artist known as KAWS, at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. If you don't already know who he is, then come out & get a retrospective look on this artist & his well-known street-art, apparel, product, graphic designs & debut of his Never-Before-Seen selection of drawings, sculptures & paintings. All which blur & defog the conventional boundaries between art, design & culture. This is sure to be a colossal eye-opener so come out to this opening reception scheduled for its debut for tomorrow, June 27th, 2010.(From 2:30pm to 5:30pm) w/ the show itself running till January 2nd, 2011, but be sure to come out on Sunday for a chance to see the artist.

...Ever wondered what it would be like to see NBA players playing...something other than Basketball? Well here's your chance, this upcoming Wednesday, June 23rd will spotlight some of the NBA's finest using their feet instead of their hands in a game of competitive futbol in efforts for charity funding. The game will be hosted here in NYC at the Sara D. Roosevelt Park (located at Chrystie & Houston St.'s in Lower Manhattan. Some of these players partaking in the event are "Pheonix Suns" All-Star Steve Nash along with"San Antonio Spurs" Tony Parker & Brandon Jennings of the "Milwaukee Bucks" to name a few, so come out and see which one of your favorite NBA big leaguer has game on & off the court at this free event. Game starts at 6pm and like I already said...It's FREE!!! So what's their to lose?
