PRADA Resort 2011-First Look

Miuccia Prada's resort offerings are never disappointing--and so this season wasn't any exception. This sophisticated lineup offers a beautiful collection of dresses that are ruffled & floral printed in bold prints that are a nod to the early 20th Century, 1930's Theme. Juxtaposed with these are slick black styles infused with color thanks to bright accessories. Just like with any form of visual presentation, the background here is crucial to its success. At Prada, this meant a throwback drop of country settings depicting imaginary landscapes that set the tone & time zone flying backwards to about more than half a dozen decades into the past. The bold jewelry displayed here, is made from methacrylate, a lightweight glasslike material, while the shoes; platforms/pumps are designed with faux-coral or beaded embellishments & ankle-tie ballerina flats, to match flawlessly with the canvas/exotic bags that are just precisely proper for this resort.
